We had lots of things to celebrate in June with our friends/neighbors--Chet, Tiffani & Chris all had birthdays, plus Father's Day for all four of the dads! Jami had the great idea of us enjoying a night out in Wichita for dinner at Sumos Japanese Steakhouse--we were all in!

One of the three different sushi dishes that arrived at our table...this girl about vomited when the word "eel" was mentioned. Pregnant or not, I was not about to try any of that.
Melisa feeling a little leary about the sushi as well, but she was much braver than me.

The food was FANTASTIC! I only wish I had room to finish it all!
We each got a chance to catch some flying shrimp.
We are beyond thankful to be surrounded by such a great group of friends: L-r.: Buchmans, us, Eilrichs & Coopers.

The night was young once our dinner was over, so we walked next door to Jose Pepper's for some beverages. The guys: Chris, Steve, Brian & Chet.
Oh how I wished I could enjoy those margaritas with the girls!
We had such a great evening out and can't wait for the next one!
