T-ball & Coach pitch

June & July were full of ballgames, one of my favorite times of the year! Asher got to join the big league this year with t-ball and Carter moved up to coach pitch. Daddy helped coach both teams, we all spent many afternoons/evenings at the fields and batting cages to practice, and they both improved their skills greatly. Watching my boys play baseball is one of the things I've look forward to the most, and I love that they share my passion for the sport. These pics will be all mixed together...prepare yourself for major photo overload!

My dad playing catch with all the little siblings in the outfield one game.
What time is it?? Snack time!!!

This guy's been waiting his WHOLE life (all four years) to get to play ball like his big brother. Finally, it was his turn to put the glove on, and he was READY.
He also did a LOT of socializing during his games. At this particular moment, he looked at the base runner (who he did NOT know) and said "Do you play coach pitch?" (Never mind that the kid was playing in the same t-ball game as Asher.) The kid replied, "No, I play t-ball." To which Asher said, "Well, your shoes are big."

He lacked a little FOCUS this year, but kept his fans quite entertained. We'll keep working on the focus bit.

Note the new addition to his uniform...the KC Royals wristbands we got at a game this summer...they became a staple for his t-ball games. Ya know, for all his wrist sweat.
LOVE this--all the sisters cheering on the boys from the outfield! So cute.

 Chatting up the competition.

This boy loved to play pitcher and first base...because those are the positions that got the ball the most, of course. He was very intense--no lack of focus for this one.

Carter and his BFF, Ian. They've been playing on the same team for three years now and I've gotten a picture like this of the two of them each year. You can see their past two here and here.
Triple trouble cheering on their older sibs at our one and only away game...all the way in Marquette. The big kids thought they were HOT STUFF.
 You tell 'em, coach.

 Reese, Carter & Mallorie.
The best preschool teacher in the whole world always takes time out of her busy summer to come watch current and past students play ball. We love Miss Becky!!
 Coaching up the big kids.
 Speaking of coaches...they worked hard.
 More love from Miss Becky.
 Carter, Reese, Cora and Addie.

And how about the cutest little cheerleader you ever did see? This gal toughed it out through every single ball game, and let me tell you, it was HOT.

Such a fun season watching our boys do what they love. We already can't wait for next summer!
