Carter's Pre-K Graduation

Mr. Carter graduated from Pre-K at St. Joseph's in May. I continue to shake my head, wondering how on earth he can be this big already, and how am I gonna cope with sending him to Kindergarten in a month...WAAAAH! Regardless, my heart swells for this boy, and we are SO, SO proud of all that he's done in his first 5 1/2 years of life. I know God has wonderful things in store for him and I can't wait to watch it all unfold.

The kiddos all marched into the ceremony to the song "Kids Just Wanna Have Fun." Thank goodness, I don't think I could have handled "Pomp & Circumstance" just yet. ;)

 Headed to accept his "diploma."

The traditional throwing of the caps!
 Carter and Addie.
At the end of the ceremony, the kids performed the "Toodie Ta" song...I've heard it before, but it is absolutely HILARIOUS to see all these kids act out their favorite song. They were having a blast!

 Ava, Eli, Mallorie & Carter
Carter's fan club...thank you to the all of the grandparents who came to support our guy!
 Ian, Carter & Josiah.
Immediately after graduation, the kids and several parents took off to Wichita for a fun field trip to Exploration Place! Our van load included Carter, Ian, Josiah, Lincoln, and Josiah's mom, Megan. Wow...four boys can be LOUD!! Megan & I could hardly hear each other talk two feet away from each other...they were wound for sound!

Enjoying our sack lunches when we arrived.
 Flying an airplane simulator.
 The tornado machine!

 Carter, Josiah, Ian & Lincoln.

The whole class (minus Reese E.) L-R: Ava, Ian, Carter, Josiah, Lincoln, Claire, Mallorie, Reese B., Joseph, Eli, Carson & Addie. Miss Danielle & Miss Becky in the back.
Carter and the best preschool teachers a kid (and his parents) could ever ask for! Miss Becky and Miss Danielle, we love you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you've done for Carter!
