Ash wanted on that field so bad, but we had to keep him busy with other things...like modeling headbands.
This was a typical scene on the field...a few kids kicking dirt, some drawing in the dirt, some plain ole' sitting down in the dirt, and one or two actually ready to field the ball. Very humorous to watch, somewhat stressful for the coaches. ;)
Typical man, scratching in public.
Carter and our neighbor Teegan.
Ian and Carter.
Jazz and Carter.

Socializing with Reanna at third base.

Giving me "the look."

Coaches hard at work--I think they both learned that high school football is WAY different than 4/5 year old t-ball.
The black team: Back row l.-r.: Slade, John, Jazz, Ian.
Front row l.-r.: Carter, Jaden, Ross, Otie, Stella, Kyara.
Not pictured: Teegan and Addie.
Carter had a great season and hit the ball every time he was up. His big questions every week were "How many days until my t-ball game?" and "What color are we playing?" He did a little digging in the dirt, but kept focused for the most part. I am so happy that he loves this sport, and I'd be thrilled if he continues with it throughout high school...for now I'm loving being a t-ball mommy.
