Tim McGraw concert

Way back in February, I heard that Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum would be coming to the Intrust Bank Arena in June. With Chris' birthday and Father's Day both in June, I thought that would be a fun surprise for him. Amazingly enough, I kept it a secret for four months! The morning of the concert I told Chris to be home by 5pm so we could have a date night for his birthday. He suggested that we go to the Mosley St. Melodrama, so I agreed to make reservations. He was playing right into my plan. In fact, it wasn't until we got to Park City that I finally said, "I think we should do something different tonight...let's go to a concert." His confusion and bewilderment was hilarious...he didn't believe that we were actually going until I pulled out the tickets.

They don't allow larger cameras into the Arena, so I had to resort to my little point & shoot camera...please excuse the craptastic pictures...I was cursing that camera the whole time! Love and Theft was the first act and Chris swears that they are gonna hit it big. They were great! Our seats weren't terrible, but I was a little disappointed considering I purchased them before they went on sale to the public. This gives you an idea how far away from the stage we were.Next was Lady Antebellum. My best chance of getting a good photo was taking a picture of the jumbotron! They also put on a great show!
Then it was time for the headliner. Tim has so many hits...he barely took a breath between songs....they jumped right into the next song. We were really hoping Faith would make an appearance (Chris calls her his second wife), but no luck. It was a great night out!
