Girls weekend in Denver.

My three best girlfriends from high school and I recently met for a fun girls weekend in Denver. Noelle and her family live out there, so they were gracious enough to host us all. We were only there for two days, but we crammed a lot of girliness and fun into those two days! First stop...breakfast at Le Peep! We needed some fuel to keep us going all day! Next, we shopped 'til we dropped. We then had some yummy Mexican and girly drinks.
Noelle scheduled pedicures for all of us at Tootsies.
So many choices...
The finished product...beautiful toes!
We capped off night #1 with some frozen yogurt.
I take that back...our night wasn't quite over yet. On our way back to Noelle's house we hit a nasty pothole and soon realized that we had a flat tire. We pulled over in a neighborhood and called AAA. Two police visits, LOTS of laughs and at least an hour later (grrr!), the repair guy finally came to our rescue. I will note that we would have attempted to change the tire ourselves during that lengthy wait, however we didn't have all the tools we needed. Oh well, it was good bonding time. Never a dull moment! The next morning, we were off to Mokara Spa at the Omni Hotel for some pampering.Noelle getting ready for her massage. The four of us had massages and facials spread out from 10am-4pm, so while we were waiting for our service, we had to lounge out by this pool area. And we had a bar and grille right next to our lounge chairs. And our sweet little pool girl Kayla brought complimentary mimosas to us whenever we needed one.It was a rough day, let me tell ya.
Several more fruity drinks were enjoyed throughout the day...(virgin for Jenny of course--she's expecting her second little girl in November!). The pampering was incredible and we all left a little "pink," but it was such a relaxing day. Highly recommended for any mom! That evening we went to the Improv Comedy Club for dinner and a comedian, Alonzo Boden. And then we stood in line for close to an hour to try out the new Pinkberry yogurt place in Denver. Apparently this is the hot place in California and they just opened in Denver. The lines are this long on any given day/night.
Tiff, Jenny and Noelle: Thanks for a fantastic girls weekend! I had a great time eating, drinking, shopping and being lazy with all of you. As we enter this new decade of our lives, I hope we can continue to find time to get away together. Special thanks to Noelle and family for hosting us. Love you all!
