Ten on Tuesday.

I've got a lot of little stuff to catch up on since JANUARY, so it's a perfect excuse for a Ten on Tuesday!

1. Chris got me tickets to the Brad Paisley concert for Christmas. Waaay back in January we attended that concert...it was way too fun not to document. Our friends Chet & Jami were going to the concert as well, so we just made it a date night! We all enjoyed a delicious dinner at Abuelo's (no sangria swirl for me, though--that was the only bummer of the night), then headed to the concert. Scotty McCreery and The Band Perry were the opening acts and they both put on good shows. Brad, however, totally rocked the house. I've always liked his music, but WOW, what a performer! Totally worth it, and would definitely pay to see him again. Here are a few pics, some from my crappy little camera, and some borrowed from Jami ;).
2. Right before Carter's first wrestling tournament, we broke out some old hand-me-down singlets from our nephew and the boys had their own little wrestling exhibition in the living room. Very entertaining. That little guy can't wait to get on the mat. How can you not love that buddha belly hanging out look?3. A few weeks ago, our friend Ethan celebrated his 4th birthday at Pump It Up in Wichita. It's a huge room filled with giant inflatables...the kids were in heaven.
Reed & Carter taking a break.4. Next up was cousin Talyn's 6th birthday at the skating rink!! Our boys have never been skating, so it was quite the adventure. For the really little kids, they'll lock the back wheels on the skates so they can basically just walk on them, but Carter's feet were too big for those kind...so he had to learn the old-fashioned way.5. Carter's last wrestling tournament was here this weekend! It was a huge tournament with over 600 kids...the roundhouse was packed! Daddy spent a LOT of hours helping move mats, set up, help with weigh in, etc. throughout the weekend. Friday night we went out for pizza with my parents and then I ran Carter over to the high school for weigh-in...he was 1.8 lbs. overweight!! He must be a growing boy, because he's always been a couple pounds UNDERweight. Lots of the older kids were running to make weight, but this momma is not quite ready for that, so we just bumped him up into the next weight class.
Carter didn't win any matches this time, but he fought hard and we're so proud of him for that! A couple of our friends even surprised us to watch Carter's last match! Here's Carter with his girls, Reese & Mallorie. They even made signs to cheer him on! LOVE these girls and their mommies for coming out to support our big guy.

After Carter got done wrestling, I worked at a score table and Carter helped with "towel-tapping" for the rest of the day...he did such a great job watching the clock and running out to tap on the official's shoulder after each period! Big thanks to Papa for working a table at the tournament all day, Grandma for hanging around and helping with the boys, and to Grammy, Crappaw & Aunt Lou for taking Asher home and keeping him busy all afternoon. We love you all!

6. We're in birthday party planning mode at our house. A special little boy is about to turn 3 years old...I keep asking him when he's gonna stop growing up so fast, but he just keeps smiling and telling me that after he turns "free," he's gonna be FOUR! Oh boy.

7. Speaking of Asher, I've got an entire blog post brewing that will be dedicated to that little guy. So many memories that I just have to get documented.

8. I've been such a slacker with this pregnancy, I haven't even taken one belly picture. Something about those other two boys that keep me hopping from one thing to the next.

9. We're at 17 1/2 weeks now and the nausea is pretty much gone...HALLELUJAH! Now I'm in to the sleepless nights phase...major bummer.

10. The boys both are 100% convinced that this baby is a girl. We've tried to remind them several times that it could be a boy, and how much fun would it be to have another brother?!? Nope, they already have one brother, and they don't need another one. Well...good thing we're finding out early, we may have some damage control to attend to. Asher has even named the baby sister...twice. For the first couple of months she was called Asherly. Sorry buddy, there's no way we'd name a baby after you...you are ONE OF A KIND ;). Now he consistently calls her Charlie. We don't know anyone by either of those names, so it's hard telling where he comes up with this stuff.
