Ready...wrestle!

Carter started wrestling this year! We haven't done too many tournaments, but he's learning a lot, getting stronger and smarter on the mat, and gaining confidence! I was shocked at the first practice I attended...these kids were doing push ups and situps (hilarious to watch the little ones...they don't quite have the hang of it), and conditioning for quite awhile! Carter sleeps SO WELL on practice nights!

He's wrestling in the 6 & under age group, 52 lb. weight bracket. When they weigh in before tournaments, they mark the kids' arms to make sure everyone ends up where they belong ;).

He's still very much a beginner, but you've gotta start somewhere! He's learning new moves every week and we've seen much improvement since the beginning of the season. As long as he's having fun, that's what matters most :).
