4th of July: Fireworks fun!

We didn't buy many fireworks this year, but our kids thought we had the best stash in town! They had so much fun with the cheap "little kid" stuff... I wish that would last forever! On the 3rd, the kids convinced us to head outside after they had baths and PJs on, so we hooked up with the Coopers and shot a few off that night. The kids were a little wound up!

Carter was very brave this year, he even wanted to help daddy light them!

This one we tried to keep as far away from the lighter as possible. That grin should tell you why.

After our water fun on the 4th, several families in the 'hood gathered again to shoot off more fireworks and watch the City display.

I love this series...we had the kids all crowd together and Melisa shot off a confetti gun over them. They were so excited...They all ran to collect the confetti, except for Cru! He was running the opposite way, screaming with glee!

He didn't care about the confetti--he wanted the gun! Smart boy!
