Asher wasn't too sure about hanging out with the bunny, but he was quick to accept her peace offering of candy.
The next morning, we actually had to wake the boys up to find their Easter baskets!

After church, we hurried home to hunt for eggs that the Easter Bunny left in our backyard.
Easily my favorite shot of the day...love this guy and his oversized personality!
Look what I found, mom!
Hunting and sliding...the boy can multitask.
Speaking of multitasking...monkey boy had some swingin' to do.
His bucket overfloweth.

After a quick change of clothes, we hit the road for my Grandma's house in Colwich. There were more eggs to hunt!
My cousin's adorable baby girl, Grace.
It's Easter tradition at Grandma's house that we always play a game of softball in her big backyard. Carter was so excited to participate this year (with his new bat of course), and even got some hits!
Meanwhile, Asher made a friend in my cousin Greg who bounced that boy for hours.

Some of the great-grandkids.
Another tradition at Grandma's house: All of us kids used to pile into the lawn mower trailer and Uncle Jim would give us rides around the house. Nowadays, they line the trailer with cushions for the next generation so it's a more comfy ride.
After all of that fun, we piled back into the van and headed north to Salina to have dinner with Chris' family. Grandma got a pinata, and the kids were ready to whack it.
