Our biggest boy turned FOUR today. We stayed up late last night blowing up tons of balloons and we snuck into his room early this morning to dump them all on his floor. He was totally surprised and beyond thrilled when he woke up. Asher was pretty stoked as well.

We had two presents waiting for him in the living room. A big monster truck from Asher and a Chipmunks movie from mom and dad--they were both big hits.

He's been looking forward to this birthday for months. He got to take ice cream cone cupcakes to preschool yesterday and pumpkin cookies to daycare today. He was a little disappointed that his actual party was not today, but was happy to hear that we'd be celebrating all week instead. He was dancing around the house after breakfast singing "It's my birthday today..." It totally makes me smile to see him so full of joy.

I was battling focus issues with my camera this morning, but I'm still glad to capture his big day--bed head and all ;). Happy birthday Carter Bug...
