So long, friend.

The last month has been a tough one for our family. We said goodbye to our friend Blake in August and last week we got some awful news that Chris' best friend from high school, Nick had passed away. Ironically, Nick had married a good friend of mine from college and they'd just moved to Lindsborg a couple of months ago. We'd just gone to dinner with them and gotten a tour of their new house and we were all making big plans for future get-togethers.

Nick was an incredible guy...larger than life and his personality could light up a room. Such a goofball and a friend to everyone. His singing voice was like an angel's and we know he's directing some pretty awesome choirs in Heaven right now. 30 years was way too short of a life for this guy, but he touched a lot of people in that short amount of time. Our hearts and prayers are with Lana, their unborn baby, Larry, Libby, Matt, Amber and all those who knew and loved Nick. We're so honored to call him our friend and will miss him like crazy.
