10 months old already! How can that be?? We look at Carter these days and wonder what happened to our little baby? He's getting to be a very big boy. Carter & Aunt Lindsay had a play date last Friday and they had to take Callie Rae to the vet. Callie & Carter BOTH got weighed! Our baby is now weighing 27 lbs., 4 oz!!!
He took his official first step Sunday evening for mommy and another Monday for daddy. Nothing consistent yet, but you can tell he wants to walk. We bribe him with food and remote controls to take a step and he thinks about it long and hard. Most of the time he just drops to his knees and crawls for the prize.
Carter is discovering new things every day! He absolutely LOVES the bathroom and everything in it. The minute the bath water starts running, he drops what he's doing and makes a bee-line to the bathroom. He's totally fascinated with the toilet paper roll (we usually find quite a mess on the floor and remnants in his mouth) and really likes the plunger as well. What a kid!
Irene (our daycare lady) says that he's said "Night-night" twice now for her at naptime. Grandma Allen heard it as well this weekend. He jabbers very loudly and proudly all the time. It sounds as though he has the greatest story to tell us and would we please just LISTEN?? Stay tuned for more adventures of Carter's world...
