Mommy came up with the costume idea this year, but daddy gets all the credit for bringing them to life. We had the hardest time coming up with a "shell" for the body of our little minions. We finally resorted to upside down laundry baskets. Here's the early phase...
And of course, like most Allen Family projects, we were down to the wire putting finishing touches just hours before trick-or-treating. It was not easy finding old overalls! But we made it--Chris did a fantastic job, and the boys had a blast! And we can't forget little miss ladybug--the ladybug who had NO time to stand still for pictures.
Our cousin Tyler was in town for trick-or-treating as well! I told him to hold his spider legs out for the picture, and the minions followed suit as well.
Bring on the candy, peeps!
Sweet little Caysen was there too (rocking that well-worn monkey costume--the 6th baby to wear that in 7 years!), but it was all a little too much excitement for her.
We ran into the Coopers at the end of the evening!
Even Great Grandpa got a visit from the crazy minions! :)
