Hubert Winter Gathering

My mom's side of the family usually tries to get together twice a year. In lieu of the crazy Christmas season, we usually coordinate a Winter Gathering, which we had in Lee's Summit this year in February.

 

We started off the weekend with an afternoon at this huge arcade in LS called Paradise Park. Paradise pretty much sums it up for our little boys (and possibly some big boys, too). Here, Chris & Jay are having an intense video game competition...this resulted in two men that were sweating and breathing heavily at the end of the game.

  ...which bought tons and tons of junk. Yay!

 My sister, my uncle Rod and I were all talking smack earlier in the day about our mad skee-ball skills. We died when Rod showed up with his skee-ball glove...so funny.

 We also celebrated my uncle Rod's 50 birthday that weekend with a little surprise party! Haydie enjoyed some time with her Great Grandpa.

 This was also the weekend that Haydie learned to sit up all by herself, and she is SO EXCITED!
