Grandma's 60th B-day in OKC: Part Two

After we pulled off the surprise, we all headed to Bricktown for lunch. We had to wait quite awhile for our meals......but luckily everyone remained in good spirits.

After lunch we walked around Bricktown and stumbled upon an awesome candy store...of course we had to go in. We may have sampled a few things...YUMMY!

Later that evening, we went to an event called Storybook Forest. Since it was the weekend before Halloween, all the kids brought their costumes and we walked through about 25 stations in the forest, all set up like different storybook characters. They received a piece of candy at each station as well.

One, two, three...SWING!
The grandkids all dressed up (minus Natalie--too old and too cool to dress up, and Morgan--playing soccer in Tulsa that day).

After that adventure, we drove to Edmund for a delicious italian dinner. Here is Asher showing Eric, Tammy & Angie how to work the iPod..

Grandma and Carter.Chris & I.Attached to the restaurant was a garage where they did glass blowing displays. Part of Ernie's gift was a personal glass blowing session. We were all able to view that while we waited for our meals. The whole gang...this photo was also used as Bob & Ernie's Christmas cards this year!Ernie with her beautiful glass dish.

Sunday morning we had breakfast at IHop. We were shocked when we walked to our table and found about 16 other people from our hometown sitting right next to us! Crazy coincidence!

Papa & Carter.

After breakfast we shopped at Cabela's for awhile, took a few pictures, then we had to head home since Chris had football meetings.

We had a great weekend with the family and big thanks to Bob for coordinating everything for all of us. Happy Birthday, Grandma!
